Rhode Island Association of Fire Chiefs

FireFighterApp has partnered with the Rhode Island Association of Fire Chiefs (RIAFC) to offer regionalized testing and recruitment.  A FireFighter Entry Level Examination  will be conducted twice a year in order to find qualified applicants to fill open positions for Firefighters  in our member communities. Please see the participating agencies listed at the bottom of this page. Any candidate may choose to re-register & re-test to improve their score at any subsequent testing session.

How It Works

Results will be accepted by 26 agencies!

Your two-year application eligibility period begins on the day you take the exam.  During this 24-month period, you may apply for any position advertised by a department participating in the RIAFC testing program, provided you meet that department’s requirements, as well as any other department-specific prerequisites.
